M3 Property Maintenance gave a garden room in Luton a complete cladding renewal, stripping away the old timber cladding and fitting brand new Hardie® Plank cladding in a Soft Green finish. It’s a transformation that shows exactly what a fresh cladding installation can do for a tired outbuilding.
The Challenge
The garden room’s original timber cladding had reached the end of its life. The boards showed cracked and peeling paintwork and clear signs of general wear, leaving the structure looking tired and in need of more than another repaint.
The customer wanted a genuine fresh start for the garden room rather than a patch repair, so a full strip back and cladding renewal was the right approach.
The Solution
Our domestic team stripped away all of the existing timber cladding back to the frame, then re-battened the structure to create a solid, even base for the new cladding. The correct ventilation system was installed behind the cladding to help manage moisture and protect the structure over the long term.
- Removal of all existing timber cladding
- Re-battening of the structure
- Installation of the correct ventilation system
- Fitting of new Hardie® Plank cladding in a Soft Green finish
With the groundwork done properly, the new Hardie® Plank cladding was fitted with close attention to detail at every stage, giving the garden room a completely new look.
The Result
The garden room now has a smart, modern exterior in a soft, natural green tone that suits its surroundings. Hardie® Plank fibre cement cladding is built to withstand the elements, giving lasting protection with very little maintenance needed going forward.
