What a way to end 2020 – by completing this fantastic garage conversion, which also included some more major internal works, giving our customers the living space they’ve been dreaming of.

They asked us to convert their garage so that they could create a home gym, and they also wanted to remove some internal walls on the ground floor, merging rooms to give an open-plan living feel. They were delighted with the results, and we were proud to have it completed in time for the to enjoy it over Christmas.

We are very proud that all works in this home have been carried out by M3, along with our partner professional Ben Gibbons, who carried out all the electrical works. Viewing the Before and After photos really shows how much work went into realising our customers’ vision, and how great the finished product looks!

Works to carry out the garage conversion included removal of the original garage door and mechanisms, replacing it with brickwork to create a wall and window in the same space, plus plasterboard and plastering to finish it off inside; creating a new internal access doorway; installation of windows to the front and side; full electrics fit; heating and plumbing installation; and finally the decoration and flooring to give it the final touch.

Then there was the connection of other downstairs rooms to create that open-plan living. To achieve this we carried out full removal of certain walls, with finishing and decorating; screeding of the floors, with new floors laid down; reorganisation of the heating and plumbing works; and full decoration.

The downstairs toilet was also refurbished as part of the project, where we put up new plasterboard and plastered for decoration, installed a new suite along with heating and plumbing works, and finished off again with flooring and decoration.

The hallway also got the upgrade treatment, with a brand new floor installed.
